Hello

Since I was little, there have always been craft supplies in my house and I find joy in being able to make something out of nothing, which has translated to everything I do.  What is design, really, but making something great with just a few key ingredients?

​After years working as a camera assistant and operator in film and television, I found I had more creativity to give and returned to school to earn my degree in Graphic Design.  Though I've been building webpage and making art for practically my whole life, I found the best way to practice and learn the ins and outs of my new craft was through a design program and I couldn't have been more right.  Staying at the company I was with through school, I moved over to the Product and Engineering team where I was able to use both my writing skills and flex my graphic design muscles to learn and grow even more.

 

Now, while I specialize in designing for the digital space, I also pride myself in working with my hands: in my spare time, I make 1:24 scale miniatures with a focus on reusing everyday objects for both the sustainability and the challenge.  Every time I'm at my work bench, I work to reimagine the shapes and structures of big things to innovate and make them tiny - and that's what design is all about: taking a big idea and breaking it down into small, manageable pieces so you can make something unimaginably great.
